Detention in Tacuba for Violent Altercation

At the Tacuba Modal Transfer Center (CETRAM), located in the Miguel Hidalgo borough of Mexico City, members of the Banking and Industrial Police (PBI) from the Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC) detained an individual in possession of a sharp weapon after he injured another man at the location.

The arrest occurred when the banking police, who were conducting security and surveillance work at CETRAM Tacuba, were alerted by several people about a fight between two men on one of the platforms. Upon arriving at the site, they observed a man with neck injuries, immediately requesting medical assistance, prompting paramedics from the Mexican Red Cross to transport him to a hospital for care.

The aggressor, 24 years old, was detained a few meters ahead and underwent a security check, during which a knife approximately 20 centimeters long with bloodstains was seized. The individual was informed of his rights and handed over to the corresponding Public Ministry.

After checking his background, it was discovered that the detainee had a criminal record for aggravated sexual abuse in 2020, business robbery in 2018, and for changing the intended use of public areas in 2024. The Public Ministry agent will now determine the legal situation of the individual detained at CETRAM Tacuba.
